No longer a casino virgin
So I'm finally catching up on my blogging.
Those who know me well and my e-mail habits will understand. Silent period and then BAM! everything! :) Lots of memorable events from last year, I finally got the photos so I can write some updates.
So this little one dates back to a nice little dinner mid last year. Cody, Kris, Shirley and I finally caught up. Dinner was good (Well it was Cafe Cezanne), Dessert was great. But the highlight of the evening: The sky city casino.
We all cruised in with our 20 dollars in one hand looking to make a fortune on the roulette table. We looked like a kid in a candy shop. no idea what we were doing but so excited. The casino lady took pity on us, and gave us a few tips, and after a while we started winning! There's a higher probability to win if you put chips on the odds that split it into three quadrants rather than the 2 quadrant odds (ie red and black or odd and even). Hehe so we'ld win 5 dollars every round, and lose about 10 every 2 rounds.
A great three hours worth of entertainment, Kris, Shirley and I walked 20 dollars poorer but highly amused. Cody on the other hand walks out 200 dollars richer. Decided to take a risk and place some money on a single number, and what are the odds he wins!
oh Cody miss ya! Las Vegas would have been awesome with luck like yours.
Hope you're having a primo time in France and by the way friendly reminder I'm still waiting for my postcard :)
