I'm a capitalist kinda guy, but that's just terrible terrible marketing. It's sad that it must work. The fact that someone remade the ad with a model that looks more like someone would after eating a few of those burgers, yet they absorbed the parody into their site without a hint of acknowledgement of the irony. Grrr!
I think people have the right to choose their poison if they want, but there are externalities to people getting obese, so society also has a right and duty to say "dude, that's sick, quit it" (or something to that effect :-)
